My Background

I was born and raised in southern California. My parents took me to art shows, galleries and museums all through my childhood. They encouraged a love and respect for the beauty of nature. Glass art in all its forms caught my eye at a young age.

A wedding at The Mission Inn in Riverside when I was 5 and a stained glass class in middle school piqued my interest in the art. In 1997, after I expressed my desire to take up stained glass again, my husband gave me an instructional book, tools and supplies for a stained glass project. I loved the craft. After a year and a half of experimentation and practice, I was honored to take a class from a master craftsman.

In June, 2000 I opened Glasspirations Custom Stained and Leaded Glass. I feel so blessed to do something for which I have such passion. I love to celebrate nature and light by "playing" at the workbench!

On Saturday, June 7th, I'll be at the Antique Fair at Heritage Park, 510 Foothill Pkwy, Corona. Look for me with the plant sale on the lawn.

About Glasspirations

Glasspirations has over 25 years of experience and specializes in custom designed stained and leaded glass as well as repairs, restorations and classes. I can come up with something special for any window, interior space, table top decor or gift need. After discussion with the customer about design and color ideas and I will get measurements. In about a week, I will come back with 3 to 5 drawings and prices. If you decide to hire me, we'll choose glass. When the piece is done, it will be unique, just for you.

I've done repairs and restorations since before Glasspirations opened in 2000. Many panel repairs can be done on site with the panel installed unless the caming (metal part) is damaged or the piece is made with the copper foil and solder method.

I offer private classes for beginners, teaching both lead and copper foil methods. Supplies and use of tools are included in the price of the class. Due to COVID shut downs, I am working my way through a waiting list. For more information, please click the "classes" button in the menu.
