My Background

I was born and raised in southern California. My parents took me to art shows, galleries, and museums throughout my childhood. They encouraged a love and respect for the beauty of nature. Glass art in all its forms caught my eye at a young age. A wedding at The Mission Inn in Riverside when I was 5 and a stained glass class in middle school sparked my interest in the art. In 1997, after expressing my desire to revisit stained glass, my husband gifted me an instructional book, tools, and supplies for a stained glass project. I fell in love with the craft, and after a year and a half of experimentation and practice, I was honored to take stained glass classes from a master craftsman. In June 2000, I opened Glasspirations Custom Stained and Leaded Glass. I feel so blessed to do something for which I have such passion. I love to celebrate nature and light by 'playing' at the workbench.

April 18 from 1pm to 6 pm I'll be at the Art and Music Festival at the Historic Civic Center, 815 6th St, Corona, CA.

Saturday and Sunday April 25th and 26th I'll be at the Riverside Flower and Garden Show. It will be at the Riverside Elks Lodge at 6166 Brockton Avenue in Riverside.

Saturday June 6th is the Corona Antiques Fair at Heritage Park 510 West Foothill Pkwy from 8am to 3pm. I'll be with the plant sale on the lawn.

This will be my 5th year exhibiting at Laguna Art-A- Fair. The fair runs from June 26 until September 6, from 10am until 8pm. The address is 777 Laguna Canyon Rd, Laguna Beach, CA. I'm in booth #D-20 up front to the left.

About Glasspirations

Glasspirations has over 25 years of experience in custom stained and leaded glass design, repairs, restorations, and classes. I can design something special for any window, interior space, table top decor, or gift need. After discussing design and color ideas with the customer, I will take measurements. In about a week, I'll return with 3 to 5 drawings and pricing. If you choose to hire me, we'll meet to discuss glass choices. Once completed, your piece will be unique, just for you. I've been performing stained glass repairs and restorations since before Glasspirations opened in 2000. Many panel repairs can be done on-site with the panel installed, unless the caming (metal part) is damaged or the piece utilizes the copper foil and solder method. I also offer stained glass classes for beginners, teaching both lead and copper foil methods. The price of the class includes all supplies and use of tools. Due to COVID shutdowns, I'm currently working through a waiting list. For more information, please click the 'classes' button in the menu.
